  7. How do I use the HP Laserjet 506 (benatar.netlab.uky.edu) printer located in the Copier room?
    All Netlab-managed machines should already have the printer installed on them. If it is missing don't hesitate to get in touch with the IT Team for assistance.

  8. How do I change my Netlab password?
    You can securely change your Netlab password online at https://pass.netlab.uky.edu . This page is accessible only from within the UK Campus Network.

  9. How do I access my e-mail with a mail client configured for IMAP?
    It is possible to access your mail using IMAP clients. The information to set up your client follows.

    Incoming IMAP Server: imaps.netlab.uky.edu
    User name: <your-normal-username>
    Your Email address: <your-normal-username>@netlab.uky.edu
    Use secure connection (SSL): Yes
    Port: 993 
    If you plan to use Alpine as your email client, then you can use this sample config for your pinerc file
    If you plan to use Mutt as your email client, then you can use this sample config for your Muttrc file

  10. How do I access my e-mail from the web?
    It is possible to access your mail using the web interface at  https://webmail.netlab.uky.edu

  11. What is the default outgoing mail server? How do I set it up?
     The information to set up your client follows.
    Outgoing Mail Server
    SMTP Server         : mail.netlab.uky.edu
    Username        : <your netlab username>
    Security option        : Use STARTTLS
    Authentication method: "Normal Password"
    When you try to send an email you will be asked for your netlab password.
